she was so gentle outside
but a knight within
carrying around armor for her strong heart
shes been wounded and stabbed
pricked and jabbed
but shes everything from that
her hearts been attacked
by thieves looking to steal and break
shes wise and smart
but her sleeve held her heart
tortured and captured
beaten and bleeding
she screams for rescue
the heavens above sent
God's angel of love
he loves her at the worst
and would protect her first
