i have to make a couple announcements!
well, i have to read one of my poems infront of people at the nearest gallery in my mall. and i have no idea which one to choose! so if you would comment this post saying which one you like best i will consider doing it! it would be much appreciated :)

im waiting
im staying
just anticipating

is a constant growth

My Droughted Heart

I'm on a sleak limb
Of letting go for my life
down into the river,

drowning in my own pain
i wish it would rain-
wiping away my tears
i wish there were gray skies-
so dark, nobody would see me cry
lies could kill us all
sucking away my happiness
as you pull us apart,
puncturing my droughted heart

She's A Strong Girl

laugh all you want
just to feel cool,
but in her eyes-
youre an insecure fool

She could feel the tenseness
it leveled higher
they took the gun;
ready, aim, fire-
at her heart

the hallways ventured in,
slowly as she could hear
the cat hissing,
he's ready to claw-
he's got her tounge-
but she's tough
unbreakable-
and she's had enough

she dropped her books
looked the other way
as they say remarks
destroying her heart

she'll break down
one last time-
taking what you say to heart
and ripping her apart,
piece by piece

and one day
she'll take the gun
looking your way
with emotions running down her cheaks-
she's not giving up her seat

she'll show up you,
show up the world-
and you'll know
she's a strong girl
