(so, this isn't exactly what i usually write but it was for creative writing class so i thought id put it on here! enjoy.)

'Fading'

We've been friends for so long,
but as I sit in my chair
i feel so alone
you cannot hear me.
my heart is screaming
because our friendship is breaking
what have i done?
can you hear me?
i cannot get through to you
lonesome captures my body
my eyes are watering-
a river of tears
and a sea of pain
I've been gunned down;
stabbed in the back
I hear your voice
in the back of the room
I'm invisible
crying tears of confusion
what have I done?
I'm fading...
"Fading," I whisper.
Our friendship is fading
